HOW TO APPLY

Where and how can I apply?  

Appli­ca­tion period is 29th of June to 20th of August 2023.  

Apply online in opintopolku.fi. For a valid appli­ca­tion, you need to attach a copy of your resi­dence permit and/or a MIGRI deci­sion letter that shows that you have tempo­rary protec­tion in Finland.

Application Process 

1. Appli­ca­tion period is 29th of June to 20th of August 2023.  

2. Your appli­ca­tion must be submitted opintopolku.fi during the appli­ca­tion period. Late appli­ca­tions will not be accepted.  

• Please ensure that you include all required attach­ments. 

• Please choose one (1) profes­sional field you are most inter­ested about: 
  • 1) busi­ness studies;  
  • 2) social and health care;  
  • 3) engi­neering; or 
  • 4) other non-specific field.  
• Please choose if you want to study Finnish or Swedish
• Which Univer­sity of Applied Sciences you want to do your Entrance Exam on 25.8.2023  

3. Those appli­cants who meet the criteria will be invited to Entrance Exam via e‑mail. Please ensure that your e‑mail address is valid and also check your junkmail regu­larly. 

4. If you have received an invite for an Entrance Exam, please follow the instruc­tions in your invi­ta­tion letter. If you have any ques­tions in regard to Entrance Exam, please contact the person mentioned in your Entrance Exam invi­ta­tion letter or us ).   

5. After the entrance exam, we will send you an e‑mail and notify you if you have been chosen for the programme. Please note you have 7 days to accept your study place so keep checking your e‑mails.  

6. If you have been accepted as a student for this programme, you must accept your study place within 7 days from us sending the infor­ma­tion to you. Your accep­tance letter will have instruc­tions what you need to do in order to accept your study place. Please note, if you do not formally accept your study place in accor­dance with the instruc­tions, you cannot start your studies and your place will be given to someone else. If you have any ques­tions about accepting your study place, please contact the person mentioned in your accep­tance letter or us.
